I am considering adding a front mount hitch
to my 02 F-350 in order to "tote" a small
moped or motorcycle. Anyone have experience
with this kind of setup? I know I have to find
a 2 wheeler that will not obstruct the headlights
etc... Also want a front brush guard if possible.

1- anyone have a preference based on experience
with a front mount hitch?

2-any recommendations on a lightweight moped
or cycle?

**I have a 10.6 camper in the bed so I do not
want to pull or add hitch to rear.

ps- I love this Ford site! I bought my F350 and camper
last summer and drove from Seattle to Prudhoe Bay AK
and back. 8135 miles! I NEVER would have been able to
put my rig together without the knowlege and support
I gathered on these pages! If I had followed the recommendations
of the Truck "dealers" I would have ended up with an 11foot
camper on a Ford Ranger haha! LOVE MY DUALLY!

 

you will need to stay as small as possible as if you aren't careful you will severly cut air flow to the radiator and coolers.

 

I was wondering about the air flow! I have asked the bike dealers and the people that sell the motor bike racks and they all said "no problem". SO this is why I love this site...want to hear from people "in the field" that have real life experience not just "makin a sale" thank you. Z.
