Bent hitch/rear framerails

Dunno. Try www.hitch-web.com . They sell them but I didn't investigate too much as I don't need that much trailer ball. I just remembered seeing them there. I cannot even imagine why anyone would need a 30000 pound capacity trailer ball. Anything that heavy ought to be on a fiver in my opinion, connected to a tractor rig.
I just went over to the Hitch web, and I think these ***** are for gooseneck setups. These have a capacity of 25K and 30K.

Another spot in western lower Michigan is the area around firetower hill, which is northeast of Crystal Valley. A lot of people come out to try to climb the backside of the hill, but there are also a few mud holes in the area...mainly to the north or northeast. Once again, it's tough to describe where they are - but if you have a Michigan Gazetteer, I think it shows the tower and the state/federal land around it. The easiest thing is probably just to go to that area and start exploring the different trails...there are quite a few of them around there, and many of the folks in this area go there to off-road.
There's also Silver Lake, of course...I don't live all that far from there, but I've never really spent any time there. My trucks tend to be too heavy to work well in sand...though apparently I'm not having good luck with mud either. Maybe I should ignore the mud and build a dune buggy to play in the sand...
As far as the hitch question, my large farm trailer uses a 2 5/16" ball - and I use a 1 1/4" shank gooseneck hitch ball, rated at something like 25K. My trailer is only 10K-12K, but I had a tough time finding one rated high enough without going to the gooseneck ball. Then, once I found the ball, I had a heck of a time finding a 4" drop hitch rated for anywhere near that kind of weight.
The new Superduty uses a 2 1/2" hitch, IIRC - and since it has a very high weight rating, we might start seeing more high-capacity hitch setups.
