Incentive for a purchase of a new diesel

I read in Diesel Power magazine that Ford is offering an additional 2500 dollar incentive on top of other offers for anyone who is willing to give a new Diesel engine a try. The catch is, you have to already have an 03 or 04 model. They say it is their way of saying sorry for the two model years that have all the problems I.E. Turbos, wiring harnesses, EGR valves......

I think you are reading an old issue. I believe that promotion ended May 31st.

I just purchased an 06 6.0 two weeks ago. And yes the extra $2500.00 ended may 31rst. However I called Ford customer service to complain about the sensor issues with my 04 trade in. And asked for the $2500.00 extra rebate. And I got it. I ended up with x-plan price plus $6,250.00 off of that. Ended up with the 06 $12,500.00 off MSRP. Plus they gave me fair trade value on the 04. You can get them to extend that offer. Be firm with your areas customer service rep and incentives rep.
