Guess i got lucky for once. My buddy bought an old truck for $500, put $500 into it and got tired of it...sold it to me for $500. Turns out to be a 1964 F100 with the 262 I6 and 3 on the tree. We originally thought it was a 223, which is what the PO told us. After spending ~$400 on rebuilding everything in the head..I realize that it is a 262 motor!! I have been researching it on this site and it seems to be a very rare engine. Door code is "B" and it has the extra ribs on the block, etc. So, anyway, I read a few posts of people asking members to post if they have a 262 motor...so here it is. Not trying to toot my own horn...toot...maybe just a little toot. I am actually excited about having it.
