Voltage Regulator

Can you replace the voltage regulator on the back of the alternator?
If so how much does it cost?

The dealer wanted $110.00Can for my 95. I went to the bone yard, got a working Alternator for $50.00,swap the regulator, works great.

Now I have a spare one sitting in the basement less regulator.
