WWI in color, on the History Channel.

Hi all,

Anybody catch the History Channel program WWI in color? it was archival footage that had been colorized using computers. The picture quality wasn't the best, but thats due to footage used. Even so, it was a neat way to look at that time in History.

Alvie.

Seeing something in B&W makes it seem like ancient history. When they started airing some of the WWII films in color, it made it seem as if it happened not all that long ago. I don't know how to describe it. I think it's impact is a lot greater that way. I'll have to check and see when they are going to re-air the WWI stuff next.

Seems like the big H logo for the channel should stand for the Hitler Channel.

I think what he is getting at is that there are SO many shows on the History channel about WWII and **** Germany. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one!
