I have a '99 Powerstroke with just over 220,000 miles on it. In the past few days, I have noticed my fuel gauge will either remain on the "F" position or the gauge will initially start at one position, then gradually rise until it stops on the full position. Aside from thinking I'm being blessed by the gas god, I have noticed that diesel fuel is coming out of my 1/4" overflow pipe(?) on the front of the engine block and puddling up on the ground. Thanks to this site, a few weeks ago I replaced my CPS censor instead of a fuel pump like my initial thought was. Any information on why I might be losing fuel and why my fuel gauge might be getting stuck would greatly be appriciated. Thank you Ford enthusiasts for saving me money and always lending some helpfull advice.
