How to clean 2.9L fuel injectors

While I have my heads off my 89B2 I was wondering if I could or should try to clean my fuel injectors. The new head gasket set has 6 o-rings that I am thinking go on the injectors. What do you guys think?

Have them professionally cleaned, Rockledge on the Ranger forum just had his done and they did a great job. He had to send them away, took about a week.
