Guess it's my turn...
1988 Blue Bronc 351w 177k, purchased in 1997 in Las Vegas from original owner at about 115k if I recall correctly:
Rebuilt engine installed last August
Replaced alternator 3 times
New A/C compressor and evaporator then the clutch went (a/c currently doesn't work)
2 neutral safety switches
Power steering pump and HP hose
New fan clutch (THAT was a spectacular failure)
Replaced tires
Shocks
Heater core
Driver's side window motor
Then the gearset 4 years later
New 4 core radiator
All brake disks and drums +calipers
3 batteries
All front seatbelts
A bunch of door panel fasteners
Upper actuator in ignition replaced twice
TFI module
MAP Sensor
Input Air sensor
EGR valve
Accelerator cable (right in front of AutoZone, how convenient)
Plus a lot of oil, bulbs, filters, and spark plugs.
No rust, currently working on the cosmetic stuff like weatherstripping, etc , and will probably paint the beast this summer. T-case and tranny are original.
And I always have my tools in the back, just in case.

My 1991 XLT with a 5.8 and E4OD tranny just turned 190K today! I bought it over a year ago from original owners ( Ford mechanic ) and have only had to replace the alternator and battery.......very reliable, I love it! Still on original tranny and motor and runs great, has good compression......is a little thirsty....but its a good trade-off for me

Hey all, I have a 78 bronco XLT and just rolled over 168,000. Still goin strong. It has the 400 in it. How good do think that motor is. The only upgrades are a performer intake and Carb. Gas guage works great, but after about 100 miles, goes to E. Do yall think that the sending unit is possibly bad. The 400 was never a gas saver, but I still get about 250 miles to a tank.
