Painting inside tips??

Painting inside tips??

My exhaust tips are 4"x18" i think. Anyway, they are chrome not stainless and already showing rust not marks, not real rust, but not pretty. I was thinking about painting the inside of them Black or whatever color with some header paint or something like that. Any ideas about that???

I've been using BBQ grill paint, that I get from Home Depot. It does a good job on exhaust pipes, mufflers, tips, and clamps. It stops rust, and won't burn or flake off.

Thanks, I forgot about BBQ Grill paint. That's the color I wanted too, flat black.
