I just traded in my ole' Jap car for a built Ford tough Ford lol . Anyway my names matt i just joined this site. I have a 1994 Ford Ranger and my drivers side windshield motor dropped into the the hole in the cawl and its too far down in it to get it with needle nose pliers. Someone told me i would have to take the whole dash off to get to them! for some reason Ford welded the cawl onto the body so i cant just take the cawl off and work on it so is there another way to get to them or am i just going to have to get some Rain X ?!!! Also kindof off the subject, the truck i have didnt come stock with power steering i was just curious if it would be a little to hard to put power steering on my truck
I appreciate any help
Thanks again

try using one of them telescoping magnets to go fishing for it?
You can add power steering..just find a truck in the junkyard and take all the parts/brackets/steering pump and steering box..and bolt them on yours.
Yeah i could probably do that but it doesnt stay up it keeps falling back in so i need to get in there and find out why its doing it so, do i have to take the dash out to get to the motor to fix it or what? Thanks. Matt. Im not sure what the part is called that holds up the motor through the hole in the cawl but i think thats what broke and i need to get in where the motors are so do i have to take out the dash to get to it. Sorry if i didnt explain good enough. appreciate the help thanks.
Yes that might work but the problem is, is that the part that holds the motor up thorough the cawl is broke and the motor just keeps falling through the hole so i need to get in there and fix that but if i cant take the cawl off to get to the problem then do i have to go through the dash?
