Subwoofer For 2004 F150 Screw
Don't let anybody tell you that you have to go with an 8" or 10" max subwoofer! I just had a new Pioneer TS-SW124D 12" "Shallow" subwoofer installed in a custom, carpeted enclosure that fits perfectly under the rear seat and looks like it's from the factory! WOW!!! With the new Alpine 9833 head unit, 6.5" Alpine X component speakers in front and Alpine Coax 6x8's in the rear and a dash kit by Scosche, it looks and sounds AWESOME!!! Everybody told me that a 10" was the max, but this brand new Pioneer sub does the trick!

I found a box on the internet for $75, that fit two 10 in subs for my supercrew, so i went with audiobahn because they are shallow, i think 5.5 inches, and the are cheap on ebay ($100 pair). The box is downfiring so you dont have to worry about grills or anything touching them. I also mounted a massive Audiobahn amp under the passenger seat.

Just had compelte stereo system put in sound's great!!!!
Just had my stock system ripped out and had a local stereo place do an install for me and i couldn't be happier, Had a custom box built under the back seat in a 2004 Fx4 supercab with 2 10 "Memphis Class-D Sub's, MbQuart 5 1/4 P-serie's component's in the front and p-serie's 5 1/4 coax's in the back, controlled by the kenwood excelon x-869, and powered by the memphis belle 5 channel amp mounted behind the rear seat, and the door's dynamated of course, let me tell you it sound's awesome, and sound's crystal clear and pound's hard enough to shake the mirror's to where you can't see out!! if anyone's lookin for a good system for around 2,400 installed go with that it's great and low profile too.
