1975 C-6 shift points

I know I should be able to find this out but I can't get the search function to work. Is it me or is it broke??

Question is how do you change the shift point on a C-6. I just installed a new carburetor and it increased my low-end a bunch but the engine wants to rap out before the transmission shifts. I want to lower the shift point a little. I seem to remember reading about a screw or something inside the vacuum modulator canister on the transmission but I don't recall for sure. Any help would be appreciated. I am thinking keeping the rpm's down a little should help with the $2.10 a gal liquid gold that my truck seems to like large quantity's of.

pull the vacuum line off and insert a thin flat

You say clockwise to increase shift point. Is that clockwise to make it shift sooner (lower rpm) or clockwise to make it shift at higher rpm?
