The ebay link is not working. Anyway there are two types of chinese rods. Those cast in china and finished in the USA which are fine in most cases and the rods that are cast and machined offshore are the problems. The problem is they are not torqued to proper specs when machined offshore causing a out of roundness on the large journal end when torqued to proper specs. They need to be resized before they will work properly. There have been many discussions on the FE forums about these. So if there cheap there is a reason. So ask before you buy....G.
Baddad, I see your point. Some are leary of 40+ year old rods. Myself I'd run nothing else but old iron as I do. I've had good service with my Lemans rods despite problems some have. Some guys prefer the C3 and C7 rods with bigger bolts over the Lemans. The OEM trilobe capscews and rod dowels are the culprit in most cases. G.

Well I've ogt a set of low mileage Lemans rods if he's interested, they just need glassbeading, shot peening. and new bolts to be ready to go.
