84 C6 trans mounts same location as a 77 F150 ?

I have a 83-84 E350 2wd C6 I want to put in my 77 F150 4x4. I posted about it in the transmission forum and somebody brought up a question about if the trans mounts are in the same place. Does anybody know if they are or not ? By the way my 77 already has a C6 in it. THanks.

I'm pretty sure that the tranny in the truck is married to the transfer case. (Meaning that they are bolted together.)
This also means tearing the tranny apart to be able to use the correct pieces to swap (output shaft for example).
Also, what motors are you dealing with? Ford made different C6's for each family of motors.

There both the 351/400m, 429-460 C6's. It is a married unit, I was just wondering if they had different mounts, somebody suggested that in a different forum. I knew about the shaft swaps and all that, and I know the bellhousing will fit. Thanks.

I'm not positive, but I thought the transfer case has the support. Not the trans.
