Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I went ahead and changed teh brake booster. I am still working out a few kinks. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to work on it. Will let you all know how it goes. I really appreciate all the help everyone has provided.

Cant find the MAP sensor...

OK, so I'm not sure if this thread is dead, since it's from 2003. But I have an 89 ranger xlt 2.9 v6 4X4. For the life of me, I cannot find the damned MAP sensor. I believe i followed just about every vacuum line and nothing... obviously I didn't follow one I should but I'm really having a hard time here. Any insight would be amazing. @Ken00 if you still have pictures of your 89 or some word on where I'm not looking I thank you in advance.

Welcome to FTE.
I see you don't have a any replies yet, so I'll see if I can get things started.
Since all vehicles with different engines are plumbed different & you forgot to tell us which vehicle, year, model, engine you have & or didn't post up any photos, we have no idea how to help with your specific problem area.
All that said, generally speaking, depending on the unknown to us vehicle your asking about, there should be an under hood vacuum routing label attached atop the radiator support, or maybe on the under side of the hood that may answer your question.

Give the forum more info & I'll bet a member will be able to answer with more helpful detail.
Some starting thoughts for consideration, let us know what you find on the vacuum routing label & provide more vehicle info .
