2002 5 speed automatic

Is it possible to have a 5 speed auto in a 2002 CC PSD 4X4? If so, what transmission is this?

I don't think the 5 speed auto came out till 03 with the 6.0 powerstroke. But I could be wrong.

No, it isn't possible. You have a 4R100 four speed automatic.

You probably see four shifts, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and then the torque converter locks, which feels just like another shift.
