Midwest early ford's complete bed

Has any one bought one of the complete bed kits they sell and what is the quality of it? I am thinking of going up there and buy one on the weekend of the 10% off cash sale. I am going to buy the flat side bed that fits late 50-52 because the money i safe i can buy rear fenders with the savings.

I bought one. Complete kit, you can't go wrong. Good Quality, everything fits. There fenders are the best available as well.

I agree. It's a good quality kit from the bolts up.

I bought a 53-56 bed kit from them. Had it shipped and they do a great job of crating it up too. Only thing I could complain about is the stake pocket holes weren’t cut out.
Just an FYI They’ll have them at Super Nats!

Picked up my 48-50 at bed at Carlisle. Went together very well but i was told it was one of the last beds from the place making them at that time and that was over a year ago.
I think they were going to buy the equipment from the company that was closing. My bed came bare steel.

This info helps me out. Thanks for the reply's. When I called them I was told they are not coming to Pigeon Forge this fall is also why I am thinking about going up for the sale. How about mid fifty's Bed kit. They will be at the show this year and it's only one hour away from me.

I got my bed kit minus the wood from Midwest early Ford. Picked it up a couple years ago at their annual Sept 10% off for cash sale. I picked all my fenders, bumpers, etc.. all the big stuff I didn't want to pay shipping on. Pleased with everything I got from them. I pretty much get everything I need from them now.

I bought their complete bed kit for my 53 about 7 years ago. I'm still very happy with it!

I picked one up this weekend. Does anyone have pics or write up of the assembly process? I was told drilling is required for the front panel and agle braces that mount to the rear crossmember.
