High School experience good or bad

Hey guys this applies to everybody here. In high school or out. Did you enjoy your high school experience hate it or was just alright nothing special. My high school days were pretty much enjoyable although at times I was a little scared and unsure of myself. A little shy sometimes too. I had several good friends who were good kids. I never got in trouble of any kind.Wasnt the type. Got descent grades. How about you. Tell me you experiences in high school. Good and Bad.

School...I'd rather not think about it. It's not bad, but certainly nothing special. I have a few friends who make it somewhat more enjoyable...probly 7 to be exact. I'm the only "smart" one in my class, so I don't really have any classes with my class mates, who I greatly dislike. Honestly, if it weren't for the few friends I have....school'd be a hellhole. (Theres only about 75 kids 7-12 in my highschool btw. )

I have been out of high school for over twenty years. I went to a little school with approximately 100 in our graduating class. I look back and see it as a joke, merely games of playing clicky groups. Although I was popular and nothing really happened to me that was bad. I seen alot of poor treatment to people because they didn't fit into the "in group" I hate small towns because of it and wish I never was around some of the "in people" or that small town. I feel sorry for anyone that grows up in a similar setting, nothing right about it.

Sophmore

I'm a sophmore this year and moved. I think highschool was more enjoyable my freshman year because i wasn't new. This year its "slow" but at the same time i'm doing much better.

In my experience everything is what you make out of it. Especially high school. I came to my new school this year and was kind of a loner not knowing everyone(who already had there friends picked out) but once i opened up it got fun. Only time will tell though.

High school was the best of my schooling years. I finally started gaining popularity, had my first three girlfriends, got my driver's license, and most importantly, I graduated! College isn't quite as fun...just a lot easier.

Actually quite great compared to Jr High.

I went from an D student to an A+ student in one year.

I was also a test student for something never tried before.I had nothing to lose by doing it, they said.

I took Matriculation courses combined with Technical courses.

Example:
Grade 10 = Math 10, Science 10,English 10
Grade 11 = Math 20, Science 20,English 20
Grade 12 = Math 30, Science 30,English 30

Grade 10 = Automotives 15
Grade 11 = Auto 25
Grade 12 = Auto 35

Came out of H/S with an B+ Average for everything.

After school was all wrapped up, I went Full-time at my Job of 4 years.
After 1 year of that <> I did the college thing.

I use to bring home Fs from gym class, should explain how I felt about the whole thing.

Wasn't a bad experience really but I hated almost every second of it.

Probably one of the best differences between high school and college is the fact that if you don't want to go to class...you don't have to. You don't even have to sit through the whole class. Arrive when you want to and up and leave when you want to. Although if you do this your grades may suffer.
Another great difference is most colleges don't have dress codes. So much eye candy walking around wearing short skirts and short shirts. I'm not a sexist pig...I just appreciate the art of an attractive female body!

The attendance really depends on your professor. I never missed a class. Well, ok, I didn't like math, maybe because it was like 9th grade all over again.

My dad was the undersheriff and my mom was the secretary to the principle. I use to get grounded two weeks before report cards went out because mom wrote them up. This was over 20 years ago. I skipped once and got drunk for the fisrt time ever to impress a girl. Threw up on the principle, mom beat the crap out of me in front of the whole town. This was at the time when it was OK to beat your kid with out you getting into trouble because you have spanked your child. Dad said that after picking me up for the seventh time he just let me lay there until mom cooled down. As far as I know, I'm still grounded.

Some good, some fair, very little trouble in HS. Missed opportunities, should have studied harder. Shouldn't have had the GF from another school....nice gal, but heartbreaker later on.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

I didn't take HS too seriously. I didn't do well until I was in college as far as grades go. The big man on campus stuff and all the most popular crowd kind of irked me. I wouldn't want to repeat it again.....although being that age....hmmmn, maybe.
