can anybody out there telll me just what parts I need to make my 390 +.030 over a 410+ and does anybody know where I can get a 6 or 871 setup for the engine above,also the blower drive needs to have a pulley setup for ps and alternator. Thankyou in advance. T.D.

 

You need a 428 crank and some 410 .030 over pistons. Scratch that! Since you'll be running forced inducton, you'll probably want custom pistons. I run Ross Racing Custom pistons. you'll want to be picky about the compression ratio. I don't know much about forced induction, but it will need to be reasonbaly low by performance standards, say 8-8.5:1....

As for the 6-71 or 8-71, you'll need athe right intake manifold. I thik Blue Thunder makes one.

The guy you need to talk with here at FTE is FreightTrain! He runs a blown FE setup.

You will need a custom cut piston because the ross pistons that are for the 410 are will still give you way too much copression to run the blowr i think its like 10.6:1 or something(thats my other build minus the blower). you will need a good size dish.
