I have a 66 F100. The origional VIN # plate on the Drivers door has fallen off and is lost. I think the VIN # or Serial number might be stamped on the frame but where? Does anyone know?

 

Yes...It is on topside of right frame rail under hood....can be read when on RH side looking to left side of engine....is parallel with alternator approx. when viewed from the side. It has 2 stars ...one at either end of the VIN....

another is under the pasinger seat on the frame.

 

yup, also under cab....so was the number correct for your title ...hope so.....is your tag gone gone, or just fell off and hangs out in glove box ????
