9 Inch Ford Carrier ID. Is It Posi?

On another post we discussed how to ID a 9 inch Ford posi carrier. I got some numbers over the phone from a fellow who has one that he claims is a posi carrier. Can you tell with this number if it is posi or not? Here are the numbers:
C6AW D MCC 25. This carrier had 3.00 gears if that matters.

Thanks,
Clayton

Tell the guy to try to turn the spider gears by hand. If they wont turn by hand then it is a posi. I can't tell anything by those #'s other than it's a '76. Make sure it has the right # of splines on the axles for your application.
