Crew Cab roof blew off!

Crew Cab roof blew off!
I just bought a crew cab 76 F-250, 390/C-6 4x4. I spent a week overhauling the interior. At weeks end I drove with the windows up, now that I fixed the AC. As soon as I got to 60 mph... the entire roof blew off! I knew I had a rust problem, a crack over the windshield about 8 to 10 inches long. The previous owner had the truck repainted in 1990 and apparently the ford dealer fiberglassed the cab all the way around. The rust succeeded and the fiberglass let go. Fortunately, the top came off clean and the drip rail joiner is clean, just needs minor grinding. If I could buy a new roof it would be nice. I could just drop it in place and start tacking. Anyone have info on crew cab or otherwise replacement roofs. I guess I could use two singles put together for the crew top. Any help would be appreciated.

I've always wanted a convertable . . . brilliant! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard of.
I have seen a chop job locally (project yet to be completed) where a guy took a crewcab and added the back of a supercab to it for a 4 door truck with the supercab window. He used a roof skin from an older van I believe. It has the raised ribs in it to add strengh, but I'm not sure if the crewcab roof had these or not. Is it just the skin layer that is gone or did you lose all the cross supports too?
