Wink Strangest Thing You Have Found/Seen in An OUTSIDE Garbage Pail

The reason I ask is because I found something strange in my garbage pail today. Actually, my wife did.

I put a bag of garbage out the other day and I couldn't find the lid to the garbage pail so I left it. Well, I was working on my truck at my dad's place when my wife called me. She was on the phone freaking out. Apparently she went to take out the garbage and she found an interesting "creature" in the pail. I guess the lid was off and this POSSUM (sp?) jumped in from my porch. But, he couldn't get out. So, I let him go.

Anyone else find anything?

Well my vintage trailer was kinda a dump when I bought it, and I found a meat hook under the dinette when I was cleaning it out.

Buddy of mine found most of an oppussom in his parents garbage can. Asked his dad if thats really what he thought in the can. Old man says....yea...keeps throwing garbage out of the can. So the old man laid down the can.....waited for the oppussom to walk in the can. Gave him an extra push in the can with a 12ga. Yuk.....gross.

I dont know it for fact. But thats what I heard thru a DPS trooper.
From what I understand they kinda have their own law, old style stuff.....because its older than the state Texas itself. I havent done a bit of research on it.........so really, I havent anything but rumor.

I heard that way back before my time, these guys who went to my high school put a mannequin (sp?) in a garbage can. Bent it double so that the top of the head and the feet at the top, then put the lid on. I guess it got an interesting reaction when the garbage man took the lid off. As the anecdote goes "We never saw a garbage truck run a low 12 second quarter before....."
