I just wanted to ask if a different years computer will work on my 01 like the 02 7.3 someone told me that the 02 or 03 7.3 had more hp out of the factory and I just wondered if it would work on my truck I figure they might have changed the hp on it through the ecm anyone know what the deal might be on this.the reason I know that the dealership mechanics can change the hp is because a friend of mine went in with trans trouble and they de-tuned his truck through the ecm to keep from tearing up another trans can you believe that one.
