Diesel fuel prices

The other night, Wednesday I think it was, I stopped for fuel in my truck. I paid $1.799 for it then. Thursday afternoon, when I passed by that same station, I noticed it had gone up to $1.919! Anyone else see prices rise in their area? Whatever happened to the days when diesel was cheaper that regular gas? Right now, regular gas has shot up to $1.859. Those bastions must think I am made out of money.........

Get ready to grab 'yer ankles boys - it's just gonna keep going up!!

The difference in diesel - gas prices have kinda changed with the ratio of diesels on the road. The "higher powers", whoever they may be, are no dummies - they aren't gonna loose money 'cause more people are buying diesel vehicles, AKA cheaper fuel coupled with better MPG. They just jack up the price to make up the difference. It's a load of crap as far as I'm concerned, but what can ya do??

(Yea - you can tell how happy I am that I just paid all but $2 a gallon for my last fill-up.)

All the more reason to start using BioDiesel or WVO. Here in the Atlanta area it shot up to 1.95 a gallon, my recreational driving just came to a halt.

They claim its because this time of year they step up the production of home heating oil so they are less diesel being produced. All I know during the summer I was paying 30 cents a gallon less than regular and now its about 20 cents a gallon more. Thats a increase of 50 cents a gallon. I think its more than home heating oil. its PURE greed by the oil companies. If you look they are making record profits with the oil prices up, go figure that.

So we have all of this devistation along the Gulf Coast and Southern Florida. The roads are packed with big rigs hauling supplies into these devistated areas to try and get peoples lives back on track. I believe it is greed fueled by others misfortune. It is pathetic and predatory.

I have always wondered if the OTR truckers get a break on diesel at the pumps - the answer I got when asked was no.

This really ****es me off ...

And that's all I have to say about that

Here in the Northwest we are anywhere from $2.10 to $2.40, Really have to watch where you are at to get a good deal.
