Im at a loss. Ive had the alt upgrade for about a year and a half and now im having problems just in the last month. My alt guage jumps around and my headlights dim so i thought it was the alt changed it out with a new one and same things. And when i rev the engine it actually drops to almost no output. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check the green/red "exciter wire" connections. This wire has the signal to turn the alternator "on". I had a bad pin connection on the plug kit I purchased from RJM. A quick squeeze with a crimping tool resolved my issue.
