Exhaust Leak

Exhaust Leak
This is my first post. Just got a 1993 F150 XLT standard cab. It has been through a lot, but runs well with 264K on it. Only problem is that when I turn on vent or AC/Heat, exhaust smell fills cab. Are we talking about an exhaust manifold leak or what? Any help would be great. Thanks
