I may be needing a new tranny. The 1994 E250 has 328,000 miles on the engine and automatic tranny. Does anyone know the cost of a new or rebuilt or salvage yard tranny. Real big question is how difficult / costly to convert to 4X4.

 

The local wrecking yard here in Texas gets $650 W/exchange, with a 101 day warranty.
Rebuild at Cottman's is around $900 for the AOD.
