Always think before you drive

Always think before you drive
Yesterday i was reminded of the fact a lot of people don't think before they hope in their cars. MY freind was killed in an auto accident after another car swerved into her lane. She hadn't been wearing a seat belt and was ejected from her jeep as it was airborne. Please wear your seltbelts even if you are going down the street and pay attention when you are driving. Just needed to get this off my chest and greif a little bit.

It's a shame that such a young girl was killed. My heart always goes out to the friends and family when someone so young dies so suddenly.
It continues to amaze me that people don't wear their seatbelts. Every time we turn around, we hear about someone else killed when they didn't have to be, just because they wouldn't take 5 seconds to put a seat belt on.

Im sorry to hear the bad news. I lost a friend just last year for that same reason.
Short story. I was camping and went to recover my truck the next morning after it had gotten stuck and the motor over heated. My brother shut my hood but the latch didn't click, and as I was driving down the road all of a sudden the hood flew up and block all of my view. I was doing about 40MPH and had no clue what so ever where the raod was. I was paying attention the whole time but for some reason when that hood went up, it was like I was never looking at the road because I couldnt remember if it curved or was strait or anything. You'd be supprised how much you weren't actually paying attention when all of a sudden you cant see anything.
I guess the moral here is dont pay attention as you go, but really be aware of whats going on around you. Even if something happens that is not your fault, you can still be ready for it.

Sorry to hear that Sub !
we always think things will go on forever as they are...
it gives us comfort and solice to know that...
many times it takes something tragic to make us realize what really IS important,
instead of what seems urgent....
honor her by making this event life improving for those around you...
good luck with your minutes and anything we can offer to help, just talk to us !
NOTHING will make it better, only time will make it less worse .....

Hey, Sub, I'm very sorry to hear that and you have my sympathies. Things can happen so quickly! I hope her family can find the strength to get through this event. You need it too, you lost a good friend and it's going to ache when you think "why didn't she just buckle up??".
Just by making your post to all of us, warning of the dangers, shows that Jenny still contributes to making the world a better place. That's something we all should strive to do...every day.
Sorry for your loss. -Don
