my truck: bad loss of power

I have a problem with my truck and not even ford can tell me without charging me 350. When you stop and try to go again it is like watching a snail try and race. I have replaced the tps and plugs and wires ford tells me it might be a wire to my pcm and suggestions? I almost forgot to put this in here it does not give any codes ford said it tells them that there is nothing wrong with the truck

does it act the same under load{in gear} and in neutral? has the fuel filter been replaced? did you check the fuel pressure? may have fuel pump that it failing or the fuel regulator...and have you stopped the engine forums and researched this?

on edit: have you cleaned the Maf sensor? its located after the air filter, use some brake kleen or sensor safe throttle body cleaner.....

If it doesn't act like that in neutral then, it's probably fuel related. The only electrical thing I could think of is that one of your ground wires got cut or something...like from the negative battery post to the firewall? That happened on my old Chebbie...took me forever to figure it out and it did exactly what you are decsribing.

Other than that, sounds like a fuel (maybe pressure) issue. What about the plugs, wires, and such? You may need to do a SeaFoam flush.

OBTW: I just read that you have 203,000 miles on your truck! That's awesome! I like to see when a good 4.2 makes it that far...there will be plenty more to come I'm sure.

Does it do the same thing in reverse?
Assuming it's an automatic, are you sure it is dropping all the way into 1st gear?

It does kinda do it in reverse but i am not going that fast in reverse. It is a automatic. How am I supposed to know if it drops all the way into 1st? If a wire was cut from the battery then wouldn't it not start? All the plugs and wires have been replaced about a week ago. What does a seafoam flush do?

It's the ground wire from the negative post to the firewall...yes it will start without that wire, but it will run like crap. SeaFoam is a product you use in your vaccuum lines I think...Brian knows more about it than me. It really 'decongests' your truck.

Edited by Mod.

Joseph asks that you invest a few minutes checking the wire anyways. His was only a suggestion in an attempt to help.
