No power or turnover

Hi Guys, I have a 98 V6 5 speed and today when I tried to start it as I pushed the clutch in and turned the key everything just went blank. I thought well the batterys dead but the battery is fully charged according to Autozone but nothing lights not even the clock diode or anything else. I have checked every fuse I can find and all are good. Any suggestions? Thanks

Did you have the battery checked in or out of your truck?
Check the voltage (if you have a digital volt meter) with the battery installed and nothing turned on. Should be about 12.6 I believe. Next, have someone monitor the battery voltage while you try to start he truck. It should drop to maybe 12 or so.
If you have no lights, no radio, no horn, etc. I'd check for a broken cable, in particular a broken ground wire.
Try this: with your battery installed (and assuming everything is dead) hook a jumper cable from the battery negative post to the exhaust manifold, or some similar substantial metal object. See if you get lights, horn etc.
Do not overlook corroded / oxidize terminal posts and connectors.
There is more to check but that is a good starting point.

Did check the maxi-fuses in the box on the driver side fender well? The maxi-fuses are the big fuses. Brian's ideas are also good. Does anybody know if these trucks have fusible links anywhere?

Negative side of the Battery to the Firewall? Check that wire? Otherwise go with what the others said.
