79 4x4 390 or 460

He all. I just bought a 79 f150 4x4 and I want to swap motors. Right now it has a 400 but I have a built 390 and a rebuildable 460 at my hands. Should I a) rebuild the 460 and swap it in, or b) get the motor mounts from a 73-76 with an FE, swap tailshafts from the c-6's, and run the FE. The FE would be cheaper, more original, and has a ton of torque, but a more involved swap. Any input would be appreciated. I am not asking for anyone to make this decision, I would just like some input from people who have done it or what they would do.

I know that 390 is a darn good engine but I am partial to 460's. Especially the old 460's from 68-70 Lincolns. They had a respectable amount of HP, torque and compression straight from the factory. Just me though
