Then body etc. Owned numerous ford 4bys in the past with the '76 f150 with a 360 being my favorite. I also bowhunt traditional style as a couple others here do.

Hi from WAY out east

Hi there. I am in Poplar way out in the flatlands (almost in North Dakota) but I was raised in the mountains in Helena. I miss the mountain 4wheeling, but out here you can sleep while driving and still head in a straight line! lol I'd like to hear about anything going on with meets or whatever in Montana. I don't mind travelling.

Hi Kevinken, welcome aboard.
You're up on the highline where there's some neat old tin. I run back to Ohio about every other year and either go that way or run down thru Lewistown and Circle to Glendive.
If you read down a post or two, Dick is talking about getting some guys together in Missoula this summer. If we half tried we could even do Kalispell in mid-July. In the past, the week before the Glacier Rod Run there's been a car show and swap meet at the fairgrounds. I haven't seen a date yet, but it would be easy to hold a gathering in the parking area. How about it guys?

Welcome to FTE!

I used to live up in that area... Wolf Point to be exact... There really isn't much for wheeling unless you can find a mudpit....

A get together for the Rod Run would be fun. We could our own show in the parking lot and not have to pay fairground fees. There's also monster truck races in June ... wish Bigfoot was coming again...but that's probably not going to happen.

I'm game for about anything that don't cost a lot.

I'm easy, pick a time, not a nose. Kalispell is a shot drive from Lolo.

Tom, You guys get to see the Monster Trucks first...they always go to Missoula the weekend before coming here. THey might change a truck or two depending on the breakage, etc, before getting here.

I think Tim hit it on the head with the Rod Run dates. That weekend us uaually a huge one here...arts n crafts shows and a bunch of things all over the valley.

Maybe I'll start a thread soon, on a Montana Meet, for the Montana segment of the chapter and see what kind of participation we can get. I know it's way too far for most of the guys from the rest of the chapter, but whatever... we'll see what happens. I'll see if I can get some dates together and start this going sometime soon.

I called the U of M about the Gun Show. The gal that answered didn't know a thing. I don't think she even knew what a Gun is. She did ask and no date yet. She said to check back in a couple of weeks. She will probaly be gone and it was her way of not having to find out. I will follow up more with some other people.

Thanks Matt, I hope we are out of the drought too, someone said the drought goes in 7 year spurts if so, seems we are due for some good snow storms this winter. I read your profile looks like you have quite a few Fords, that's sweet. Take care Gregg

Gregg,
Welcome. I see you own lots of Ford stuff and like to snowmobile. We started snowmobiles in 1966 with my dad. I remember one of his machines was a 1969 Ski Doo 669 TNT and he had F600 emblems on the side of the hood covering up the ski doo name. We got alot of looks and questions from people want to know where to get the Ford snowmobile LOL.

Hi Ken, thanks for the response, the 69 TNT 669 was an awesome sled, like to have one of those today, just as a collector. I bet you really got the looks with the f600 emblems. My dad's 1st sled was a 69 TNT 399, it was a great sled, have lots of memories from the good old days, boy how the sleds have changed now a days. Do you still sled? Gregg
