Tire Dilemna, need advice?

I was looking for some advice on whether to purchase some new tires or not. I am looking at replacing the stock GY RT/S's with some Michelin LTX M/S. I don't necessarily need new tires with only 15K on them and the vehicle but after reading stories on how bad these tires are and also my personal experience on how bad these tires seem to feel on rough and somewhat smooth surfaces, I am hoping these michelins will improve the ride significantly. I am hoping someone here can share with me some personal experience of doing the same thing to convince me to do it. I really want to improve the rough and jiggly ride. Is this my imagination or not? Anyone out there have any opinions for or against it so I can justify spending 600 Bucks? Thanks in advance.

My 1999 Expy has been shod with Firestone Wilderness, Michelin LTX M/S, Michelin Cross-Terrains, and Bridgestone Revos.

Michelins are not cushy, unless you go for the Cross-Terrains, which in my opinion wear too quickly for their price.

jiggly ride

Replaced the Contis on my 2004 Expy with Michellin X Terrains. Improved the ride somewhat. What year is your Expy?

My Expy is an 02 EB 4x4 w/LLS. I want the smoothest ride possible. Are there any tires out there that might be better than the Michelin LTX M/S for a cushy ride?
