For post 9-29-0[3] engines, they did up-date the mounting bracket configuration.
That makes sense - I bet the changed bracket had something to do with keeping the wires from chafing. Or they just got tired of everyone asking "why does that thing sit at a funny little cockeyed angle like that?!" (Er, assuming the new bracket is straight; I haven't actually seen one...)
I have a 2004 6.0L that I am having trouble with. I had #6 and #8 injectors replaced. 1 week after got codes saying #6 was bad and FICM was bad?? Have moved on to replace FICM wire harness and possible FICM. I have both parts in hand and have not been able to match up any part numbers exactly. Do the Re-mans have differant numbers then the originals?? thanks
