Ok Kansas, it's time to show the troops that there are plenty of friends and family here that hope the best for them and owe them a debt of gratitude for the work they do protecting our freedom. During Fordtoberfest 04' we are going to collect donations for care packages to be sent to troops serving over-seas. I will be checking in the near future to see what it is they want and need over there and get a list up. For now, if you know anyone serving over-seas please e-mail me with all the info you can get (i.e. name, rank, company, and location) so I can get a list started. This IS NOT limited to chapter members, if you have a friend, nieghbor, of family member serving, get me thier info and let's get this done. This is our chance to show our men and women of the armed forces that we appreciate all they do for us.

My oldest boy has been over there for 6 months now. They do need a lot of hygeine stuff , and junk food.

Let me know what I can do to help. I think all of us either have friends and relatives or know of some that are overseas. This is a worthy cause and we should all follow through on it.

Lets see if maybe we can find a contact or source to ensure we get the packages to the people. I know there is programs and groups that do this so maybe we can get in contact with them and do it right and proper.

 

Rollie I have all that in the making. Ken is getting me the contact info on the guy in charge of all that. I'm gonna get started on typing up that list and we can get it up as a sticky like Steve said. I am very excited about this project, I really think this is what sets us apart from the rest !!!!!!
