I have a 93 aerostar and would love to put some ground effects on it. Anyone know who sells them or what application could be used. I have done a few things to it it has a flowmaster muffler so I have a nice rumble when I drive by and I just put american racing rims on it with 225/60/15 tires, its too cool. I want it to be a rockin mama's ride!
How about a billet Grille? Stull Industries makes one for the Aerostar, it is listed on thier website. http://www.stullindustries.com/billgrills.html#FORD down at the bottom of the ford section of the page. You can also buy them on www.carparts.com I want one for my van. You may want to seriously consider a K&N filter for it, it will add a few horse power, and a little noise too but hey a little noise is worth the power right?
Does anybody know where to get euro style tail lights for the aerostar? I have been looking everywhere and can't find them. also what about some headers to open up that exhaust system (but which ones will fit)???
As far as headers go, I know JBA makes 'em for the 3 liter Rangers. I didn't see any applications for Aero's tho. If I had their URL I'd post it. The K&N Filter does flow more air, but you may have to clean the MAF more frequently due to the oiled cotton media that they use. I saw a neat modification on the MAF to flow more air but it'd void any warranty and may not pass a visual test. For body mods, J.C. Gypme, er, Whitney usually has that kinda stuff. There are factory airdams and side boards that came on "sport" models. Large flares would be a problem with the sliding side door if you find any. I'd like to "dually" mine 'cause I carry a lot of weight but the side door wouldn't open all the way.
Just some P.B.I.'s (so bad their not even half baked, they're partly baked ideas!)
