I have to get an inspection done this month,I have the diablo delta two stage,Can i just flip the toggle switch to the stock tune and all will be fine with the emissions test?? Will it automaticaly pick up my stock tune,Or will i need to drive it a bit in the stock position for the computer to fully relearn the stock tune?? It should'nt throw any codes when they plug into my computer?? Thanks.

There might be a risk of it tossing a code. But depending on your state wheather you will pass or not. I though CARB certified meant chips were ok on emmissions tests but I guess not.

 

But if i turn the toggle switch over to the stock tune i should'nt have any problem?? Does it take some driving for the computer to fully relearn the stock tune,Or once i flip over to stock,Will it just automatically be the stock tune??

 

Superchips chips are CARB (California Air Resources Board) exempt. Diablo Sport chips are not. Not all Superchips products are CARB certified these days. Any thing custom, chip or tuner loaded tune, is not CARB certified.

If you switch the vehicle over to stock, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and that will clear any codes set by the chip. Switching takes effect immediately, and the vehicle will continue its adaptive learning (it's always being adaptive).
