Upper molding

Upper molding
My 77 F150 has a black upper molding just above the F O R D lettering on the tailgate. It also forms part of the opening for the door handle. It is black with a crome type outer ring around it. I have a picture but am not allowed to post attachments. Do you know what I mean about the part. I have tried Dennis Carpenter but they don't make one. Any idea where else I might try?
