LMC Truck Parts

Has anyone had any good or bad expieriences useing this company? Good or bad, just let me know. Im looking at buying some gaskets from them, and patch panels, and possibly a carb and oil pump. My dad says it might be better to get the last 2 things from a dealer.

I've had good experiences from them, I doubt you would need to go to a dealer for to get a good carb and oil pump but I'm with your dad on not ordering them from LMC Truck. I feel the company is good for cosmetic parts but not mechanical parts.

I have had good luck with them. They are nice to deal with. However, you might want to look around as the best deals come from all over. Some stuff is cheaper from the parts store, some from the junkyard, and some from mail order. I would get the carb from holley and the pump from the auto parts store.

I have also had a good experience with them, but I also agree with teds74ford, better deals on carbs and other big parts like that can be found other places.

LMC has a nice variety of parts, but their prices are crazy.

Oh, I was just messing with you. I meant upgrading to a 4bbl. I would look into a carb rebuild kit for your existing carb, since you don't want to upgrade.

I've done business with them, both by phone and over-the-counter, and I'm satisfied with their quality and service. Most recently, I bought a sending unit/fuel pick-up for my 81 f250, and it was visually identical to the old one. Some of their prices are good, some are high, so it may pay to shop around. Just bear in mind that LMC is not a discount house, and that it will be hard to beat them on quality.

I've bought alot from LMC.

some of there stuff is over priced, but alot of there prices are below NAPA's prices.

Never got the wrong part
Never had to return a part

with places like Rockauto.com, LMC truck, JcWhittney, Bronco Graveyard, NPD, Natauto.com and Carparts.com, I almost never have to deal with the confused blank stare of a parts counter drone.

I have a brand new 1 bbl carb. Stock for an 84 f150. I bought it from Oreilly. My truck broke down not even 100 miles after I put it on. If you want it, I will take $150 and ship it to you. Email me at the84prjcttrk117@aol.com . I've got the whole truck except bed. Has a recently rebuilt 3 spd tranny with a floor shifter conversion kit on it, new distributor cap and rotor, willing to part the whole thing out. Or if you live in texas and want the whole thing. Make an offer!
