Looking for FREE parts?
Thought I would share this.
There a non profit that maintains a metro area site where people can give stuff away...supposedly keeps things out of landfills.I have noticed that people often list Truck and car PARTS (you are not allowed to list an entire vehicle) under the category "storage and miscellaneous".
You have to register when you get there but that is only for demographics...the 5 county metro donates to this organization. If you are outstate, just use initials and pick a city and zip.
From 11/29...Marc Grey in Rockford listed parts for a 1987 Ranger 4x4...free if you pulled them. Ad is still up (scroll way down) as of 12/31 and has a phone number.
Be cool now...it's not a chat room so don't post junk...just use the resource. If it's abused, it will go away.
