Petersons is just as bad, if not worse than Four Wheeler- Look at what they build every year for their ultimate challenge or whatever the heck they call it. Can anybody in the real world build a truck like that just to go out and beat it??? They are totally biased against ford (as is all of the 4x4 mag industry) All of the articles are for jeep, GM, or tube frame rock buggies!!! I dropped them a long time ago and then picked them back up because of the low dollar and beater praise articles, but now they are back to unrealistic crap!!!!

Both have their good and bad points. But hey, it beat watching Days of our Lives with the wife. Anyone ever get Off Road? I sent in a subscription, but never got it.

I pickup four wheeler once in a while to see whats featured especially if there is a Ford onthe cover. They are definitly proford. It seems like there is tons of articles on superduties and 150s. I got to admit not too many people could afford some of the fancy trucks they feature

Four Wheeler has gone by the wayside since Emap/Petersens bought it... As for the 4x4 rags being anti ford, doesn't bother me, I'm an equal opportunity 'wheeler... If it's got at least 4 wheels, an engine, and a manual transmission, I'll wheel it, besides, 1 ton axle tech is 1 ton axle tech, things don't differ all that much...

I'd much rather have a magazine that outlines what a bunch of rednecks who honestly DO NOT have a budget do to get by and go wheeling on the weekends (and still have $$ for beer), as opposed to these guys who just say 'alright, we're gonna act like we're on a budget'. There's some pretty ingenious stuff 3 drunk rednecks think of while being armed with a stick welder, a torch, and t-posts...
"We're gonna make a solid axle suspension outta this here IFS front end!"
I think I may just start my OWN magazine...

I can't make it Ford's only. Then Primedia would buy me out and spread their marketing feces all over it, just to get a little more of the market share. Plus, My mudder has a 14-bolt and a 91 Chevy body on it...
