I need some ideas about my exhaust

I have a 1993 Ford Bronco and i have truck tags which means i dont need my emissions tested in the state of virginia. I have a full bassani exhaust system on my bronco and i dont have a catalytic converter on it. I took my truck into get a safety inspected but the guy said i need to have a cat. on my exhaust system but doesnt need to pass any emissions test. Baisically it just has to be there. Is there any way i could put a cat. on my truck without messing up my very expensive and nice system exhaust system? Thanks

Bassani sells a head pipe with catalyst installed. How much improvement did you get from bassani system? Are you running headers as well? What engine you got?

Isn't very legal but you could install the shell of a cat on the pipe since it is only a visual inspection. The better option would be what 93BigBlackBronco said.... we all have to breathe the same air!

Go to the junk yard, buy a crappy old cat, beat the innards out, and install.

-Did that sound really weird, or is it just me?

well since i dont like cats i agree with you mathew c.
a good quality high flow catalitic converter will not affect your performance and it will keep the air we breathe cleaner. so why not just put them in the system somewhere?
