Quick question or two re engine pulling
How many bolts hold the bellhousing to the block? I've removed 5 bolts from the bellhousing to engine, the sixth one is really stuck on there. This is when I thought "hmmm...why not take the bellhousing with the motor".
How many bolts hold the tranny to the bellhousing? I've removed 4 bolts from tranny to bellhousing. Can't find anymore.
I think the engine is bout ready to come out. But for the life of me I keep thinking that there are more bolts to undo.
Everything is disconnected, electrical, fuel, clutch linkage, coolant hoses, exhaust. The carb is removed and in it's place is an engine lift plate. So I'm thinking that everything is done with the exception of the engine mounts themselves.
I've only pulled a few motors...and this is the first time doing it by myself so I gotta ask someone
