Hi Spitty...It turns out that I am painting the '53 that I'm restoring Glacier Blue. That color is a PPG color (Pittsburg Paint and Glass). So, find a auto paint store that distributes PPG products and ask for Glacier Blue (ppg code 10911). That's it. What I am looking for is the ppg code for the cream color that the grille is painted. If you find out what that color is, please post it.

jvmcc, If you are looking for the grille color in 1953, I have a book that states --"The grilles of the Standard and Deluxe models were painted ivory" Then if I look in my Chassis Parts Catalog for 1948 thru 1955, it shows an Ivory paint with a Ford part number of M-2J-137. Can't tell if that is a Grille paint or a body paint though.
