#8 misfires P0308

F150 2001 supercrew 4.6l 42k milesThanx for the all the help I've received already. My #8 cylinder is misfireing. I was told it was the left side all the way back. Is this correct and if so, now what. I've already changed the fuel filter, sparks, and added fuel injector cleaner. The cleaner didn't work so I figure I need to get that specific injector thoroughly cleaned out right?

sounds like could possibly be a bad coil or plug wire depending the type of ignition you have if it has coil on plug try swapping coil with different & see if problem follows that coil or if you have ignition wires check for spark on that wire.

Okay so I pull the plug off the spark and see if I get a spark off the pulg? New to this so take it easy. Do I need special equipment to test this? I've seen people pull plugs then use scredrivers or something to test to see if the wire is good and it's getting juice to the spark. How can I check to see if power is going thru the cable without any equipment?
