'61 Unibody in PA Junkyard

There is a '61 unibody in a yard in southeastern PA. I believe the truck was running and road worthy until just recently and ended up in this yard as part of an estate salvage. The truck is largely in tact with the following exceptions: 1. The hood is not original and is no good. 2. Both front fenders have been crunched (one by the yard operator). 3. The grille and radiator support have been removed (I just bought the rad support.) The grille is in fine shape and is now stored in the bed. Other than that, the remaining parts appear to be original and in decent shape.

The truck had an old Colorado tag on the front. So, I'm guessing it came from the west before landing in the PA yard. Very little if any rust, which is why I snagged the core support. I think the doors are good as is the uni-box and tailgate. It has what appears to be the original 223 six (generator replaced with alternator) with a 4-speed floor shift. The bench seat is shot but the interior is all original and even has the original radio. The odometer reads around 8,000.

Good for a few hard to find body and interior parts. And I'm guessing that the engine runs.

The yard is Wrightstown Used Auto and Truck Parts in Bucks County PA. The phone number is 215-598-3020. They'll ask too much for any part you want. But, the truck's been there 6 months and I'm the only vulture so far. Tell'em the guy that tortured him out of the core support sent you. When he finishes whining, make an offer. He'll know he can't win. He'll be happy to get something out of the truck since he thinks I stole the rad support from him.

Thanks for the heads up, Jethro.
There are a lot of trucks still floating around in PA junkyards, if you know where to look. Most are pretty rotten though.
