The book that came with my 2003 7.3 PSD Excursion calls for a FA-1680 air filter. The discription of that filter on the Shop Diesel site claims it is for a 2000 7.3. It list the FA-1750 as the one for the 2001-2003 7.3. Which is right?

 

I know for a fact that a 1680 fits my 2000, but I am not sure about a 2003. The 1680 is retangularly shaped. It is 2 1/8" thick, and 7 1/4" by 13 1/4" measured on the side with the black gasket material attached. (Just happened to have one laying right here beside me!! ) Hope this helps.........
