Windshield Wiper Flutters...

Sounds weird but my windshield wipers flutter pretty noticeably on the freeway around 65 mph. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else. I don't know how much it changes the aero of the vehicle, but I did put a bug shield on and can't recall if this happened before that. I didn't want to use the cursed "V" word on the title but that's seriuosly what it sounds like. I wonder if some people aren't experiencing this and are being quick to yell out vibration.

It's the bug shield. Pretty common. I have had on previous vehicles too. Which shield do you have? I had one before that caused that and hood movement. I replaced it with the Ford low profile. Don't have the problem any more.

I also have the windshield "flutter" I have a bug deflector and it's not from ford. It's an aftermarket that is heavier duty than ford's. I haven't found a fix to the "Flutter".

Keep me posted

It's definately not the bug shield though making the noise, although the installation of it may be changing the aero enough to make the wiper move. In daylight hours, I can literally see the wiper moving and making the vibration. But like you said, it's only around 70+

Get some "aero" wiper arms.
